1.What are the advantages and disadvantages of different materials of Aquasust aeration membrane?
• Silicone: High temperature resistance, good flexibility, chemical corrosion resistance, suitable for high temperature environment, but the price is higher.
• EPDM: Strong weather resistance, UV and ozone resistance, suitable for most sewage environments, wide temperature resistance range, and also has good chemical resistance.
• PTFE: Resistant to extreme chemicals and high temperatures, but more expensive, suitable for special applications requiring corrosion resistance and high temperature resistance.
• TPU: Good wear resistance and chemical resistance, suitable for high-frequency use and dynamic applications, but may perform poorly in extreme temperatures.
2.How to choose the material for Aquasust aeration membrane?
The selection of the right material depends on the following factors:
• Working environment temperature: If a high temperature environment is required, silicone and PTFE are more suitable.
• Chemical environment: If there is contact with corrosive chemicals, PTFE or EPDM will be more durable.
